After a 60-year lapse, we revived The Sausalito Herring Festival!

Every Winter, the West Coast Roe(Caviar) Herring Fishery starts in San Francisco Bay, and migrates North, making many stops, all the way to Norton Sound by Nome, Alaska by early June.
We celebrated the Herring, the Roe(Caviar), the Fishers, the Fishworkers, The Fleet Parade, Chefs, Brewers, Musicians, Artists, Seals, Sea Lions, and all the Birds that descend on this Historic Fishery-all for a great cause, the Cass Gidley Community Marina!
A huge success, thousands showed, the food ran out, look for more Festivals in the future, all the way to Alaska, along the Herring Trail.
